The 2000's Onwards
In 2000 Sh Ch Lynwater Frosty Welcome of Crookrise, from the first ever litter of Pointers in the UK sired by imported frozen semen from the USA, was BIS at the Pointer Club Championship Show. Her litter brother, Lynwater Atlantic Crossing of Crookrise won the Gundog Group at Darlington Championship Show and has been the sire of Champions at home and abroad, including Ch Crookrise Hi-Jack who is the sire of Sh Ch and Ir Sh Ch Crookrise Rhum.
In 2001 Sh Ch Lynwater Roulette of Crookrise (sire Sh Ch Vossmead Gambler of Crookrise and dam Sh Ch Sarah Pocket of Crookrise) was Best in Show at the Southern Pointer Club Championship Show and Gundog Group Winner at LKA Championship Show.
Ch Calderside Love in a Mist, bred by Dawn and Graham Ingham and owned and handled by Helga Edmondson was Best of Breed and won the Gundog Group at Crufts 2001. She was also RBIS at the Welsh Kennel Club Championship Show. Ellie, sired by Crookrise Old Glory from Sheraton Love Bug at Calderside was Top Pointer that year and went on to win Best of Breed at Crufts from Veteran in 2005 and a total of 21 CC's. In 2006 she was Best Veteran in Show at all three breed club championship shows and overall runner up in the Veteran Stakes at Driffield Championship Show. Other Show Champions included Sh Ch Crookrise Slaney of Flwington owned by Geraldine O'Driscoll and Sh Ch Whilspan Dorrigo of Crookrise bred by Barbara Critchley.
Ch Crookrise White Lace, bred and handled by Helga Edmondson, a great grand daughter of Love in a Mist, sired by Vossmead Jester of Crookrise from Wherathy Fizz was BPIS at the Pointer Club Championship Show in 2006.
Crookrise bred dogs continue to be used regularly for grouse counting on estates and moors across the North of England.

During 2008 Crookrise dogs were behind many CC winning Pointers in the show ring and continued to give a good account of themselves in the field.
Sh Ch Crookrise Macawley at Gelama (sire Sh Ch and Ir Sh Ch Crookrise Rhum, dam Calderside Nigael at Wherathy) bred by Helga Edmondson and owned by Gail Simmons, won his third CC at Birmingham National Ch Sh and won two more CC's at SWKA and LKA championship shows.
Crookrise Arran at Luneville (sire Ch Crookrise Hi-Jack, dam Sh Ch Lynwater Frosty Welcome of Crookrise) owned by Nigel and Michele Macmanus, won the bitch RCC at Crufts.
Ch Crookrise White Lace won the bitch CC at Blackpool Ch Sh and at Leeds Ch Sh and the RCC at Three Counties Ch Sh.
The young black and white dog; Crookrise Floyd (Wherathy Walter at Calderside x Lynwater Hurdler of Blackcraig) won well as a puppy and in junior dog classes. He also sired his first litter with Calderside Scarlett O'Hara.
Dogs sired by Sh Ch and Ir Sh Ch Crookrise Rhum and Crookrise Rory also won CC's.
Corollaries dogs also did well in Ireland, winning Green Stars and CACIB's.
Corollaries Fly Me to the Moon (sire Vossmead Jester of Crookrise, dam Crookrise Arran at Luneville) opened by Ferdinand and Evely Xureb is now a Champion in Malta.

This was another successful year for Crookrise in the show ring. At Bath, Crookrise Floyd won the DCC and BOB. Ch Crookrise White Lace won the BCC at the same show.

In 2011 Sh Ch Crookrise Rhum won first prize in the veteran dog class at Crufts. Two litters were born, the first sired by Crookrise Rhum ex Crookrise Rushlight and the second sired by Crookrise Rory ex New Moon Do Vale Caveiro at Crookrise. Corollaries Rory and Lynwater Hurdler of Blackcraig (grandmother to Crookrise Rushlight's puppies) won their Show Working Gundog Certificates at the Kennel Club's training weekend on grouse at Reeth, North Yorkshire.

Featured Crookrise Forest, now maturing at three years of age. His sire, field trial winner, Nantycorn Easy Rise is a son of Ft Ch Sparkfield Topic, so bringing in a new field trial bloodline from the famous Sparkfield Kennel of Terry Harris, plus on his dam's side, our Crookrise bloodlines. Crookrise Forest is a RCC winner as is his litter sister Crookrise Rushlight. Litter sisters Crookrise Agathis and Crookrise Trinity are now more mature and winning in the show ring and also showing promise in the field. Sh Crookrise Free and Easy had a lovely litter in May sired by Crookrise Forest.
