The world famous Crookrise Pointers was established in 1933 in West Yorkshire by Walter and Kitty Edmondson. Since then, the kennel has produced:

34 English champions

3 world champions

23 field trial winners

1 field trial champion

Crookrise is now run in partnership by Walter and Kitty Edmondson’s daughter, Cicely Robertshaw and their granddaughter Helga Edmondson.  

Our aim is to produce dogs that can win in the show ring and give a good account in the field.
