The stars of 2011

Not many shows have been attended in the early part of this year, but we did exhibit at Crufts where Sh Ch Crookrise Rhum won first prize in the veteran dog class.

Two litters have been born recently. It has been two years since our last litter, so shows have been put on hold for the time being so that time can be spent with the puppies. The first litter born are sired by Sh Ch Crookrise Rhum ex Crookrise Rushlight. Three puppies have been retained from this litter and we hope to show or work them later in the year. The second litter are sired by Crookrise Rory ex New Moon Do Vale Carvoeiro at Crookrise.

Crookrise Rory and Lynwater Hurdler of Blackcraig (grandmother, to Crookrise Rushlight’s puppies) won their Show Working Gundog Certificates at the Kennel Club Training weekend on grouse at Reeth North Yorkshire in March.
