The world famous Crookrise Pointers was established in 1933 in West Yorkshire by Walter and Kitty Edmondson. Since then, the kennels has produced:

  • worldwide, over 50 champions
  • 34 English champions
  • 3 world champions
  • 21 field trial winners
  • 1 field trial champion

Crookrise is now run in partnership by Walter and Kitty Edmondson’s daughter, Cicely Robertshaw, of Sedbergh, Cumbria and their granddaughter, Helga Edmondson of Cowling in West Yorkshire.

Our aim is to produce dogs which can win in the show ring and give a good account in the field.
